The Branch maintains membership in the Canadian Dance and Dancesport Council CDDSC and Canada is represented on the World Dance Council (WDC) through membership on the CDDSC.

The Branch supports and encourages it’s members to take part in various activities supported and/or promoted by the Branch and it’s members ie: The Annual Master Class; Student Scholarships; The Bal de Prestige; Divisional meetings and the Annual General Meeting.

In 2009 the National Board of the CDTA will organize the 60th Anniversary Celebrations which will be held in Toronto, ON. Members are encouraged to become involved in the planning for this event. The 50th Anniversary was a huge success for both students and members.
